The Riverside Cottage
Backyard bliss, fish right off the bank!

Cheery and spacious, this newly renovated one-bedroom cottage sits just 50 feet from the edge of the Bitterroot River’s East Fork. Plant yourself peacefully at the picnic table or in one of the flowered chintz lounges and watch the magical mountain waters roll by. Or plan to play hard in the area’s great outdoors—hiking, boating, biking, skiing (great cross-country
and downhill), as well as snowshoeing, and hot springs-soaking)—you name it, it’s nearby.

The kitchen is fully equipped. A BBQ grill on the covered porch facing the river makes for charmed backyard dining. At day’s end, curl up in the queen bed, or the comfortable queen-sized La-Z-Boy Sleep Sofa in the living room.

With Riverside’s location at the southern end of the Bitterroot Valley, this Cottage is really a

Grove St. Cottage
The Grove St. Cottage, which has been called ″An Amazing Place,″ is a cozy little house in historic downtown Hamilton, the heart of the Bitterroot Valley. Recently remodeled, it features on the main floor one bedroom with full-sized bed and one full bath. The upstairs loft has a twin bed, with twin trundle, and the living room offers a queen-sized sleeper couch for additional family or guests.

s a fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV, WiFi, and a window-mounted air conditioner in the loft. A small storage area off the bedroom is just right for your skis and fishing poles. Make this your base camp for all sorts of Bitterroot adventures . . . hiking, fishing, floating, skiing (downhill and cross-country), snow shoeing, or mountain biking.

The size is ideal for a couple or small family, and super conveniently located for strolls to the local Farmers Market, restaurants, and downtown shopping.

The Red House
This colorful abode—a place of sweetness, comfort, charm, and serenity—is the longtime home of a local artisan. You’ll find it easy to unwind and marvel at the awe-inspiring canyon vista, or peel off your clothes and bake in the backyard’s delightful wood-fired sauna.

Four bedrooms will sleep a total of seven people—in one queen bed, two doubles, and a single. The kitchen is fully equipped, there are two baths (one with a shower and tub and one with a shower), and a laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer. And wireless internet. The house library is full of good books. Pick out one to read, or stay on awhile and write your own!

The Red House’s location deep in the heart of the Bitterroot, you’ll be close to everything there is to explore—mountain trails, paddling the river, and the best of town life. The wonderful old theater, Hamilton Players Inc., is right down the road, and the fabulous Bitterroot Performing Arts Center is just a couple of miles.

Three Bells Cabin
Three Bells Cabin, recently and beautifully restored, sits on unique land at the confluence of Dowling Creek and the Bitterroot River’s East Fork. Its lovely 2.8 acres fronts the river for more than 1,000 feet and also borders National Forest land on two sides. You can explore on up the river or back into Dowling Gulch.

Built circa 1920 by a local Bitterroot family, this log cabin has seen many generations of fun gatherings. Much remains the same, except now you’ll be enjoying running water and indoor plumbing with a tiled-shower. Plus the convenience of a washer & dryer.

The bedroom has a queen log bed and a gas fireplace. The front sunporch or “sleeping porch” has another queen log bed and lots of windows. A comfortable futon also sleeps two. The kitchen is fully equipped and the lovely stone fireplace in the living room draws everyone in.

You’ll want to visit the huge bells located on a knoll just over the creek. And then see if you can find the other big bell atop another hill. Three Bells Cabin is a great, mountain, fishing-and-hiking retreat in the heart of land you already own—
your National Forest. Come and enjoy it!

Lewis & Clark Lodge
With three spring-fed ponds and a meander of Skalkaho Creek, this tranquil getaway feels like a “secret garden.” The 2500 square-foot lodge has a spacious open floor plan, with a wood-burning fireplace. The covered patio sports a propane barbecue grill, which offers a delightful spot for outdoor dining. And the kitchen is totally equipped. For your convenience, there’s a full-sized washer and dryer.

On the main floor, the master suite has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, bathroom with a shower, and an outside door to a private yard and the creek.

s another large living room, with a table for games and a TV for viewing your favorite movies from the big comfy sectional couch. The two nicely appointed bedrooms each have a queen bed, and the bathroom tub is jetted for a relaxing soak.

Lewis & Clark TINY House
What a great way to experience for yourself the new social movement so much talked about: ″tiny home living.″ Situated on the banks of Skalkaho Creek—on another corner of the rural and private property of Lewis & Clark Lodge—this well-insulated, 245 sq-ft, mobile home with custom-built interior is full of ingeniously planned amenities.

The dining room table transforms, in a flash, into a full-sized Murphy Bed. The kitchen is generously equipped with refrigerator, convection oven, microwave, and coffee maker, plus the pantry essentials of oil, sugar, coffee, tea, and basic spices. The bathroom has its own touch of both the Old West—a stock tank shower/tub—and the New West, a composting toilet.

ll find linen & towels, a hair dryer, natural soaps & shampoos, hot water on demand, and for all-season comfort, a mini gas heater and a fan. Enjoy wireless internet and a flat screen TV.

From balcony, deck, patio, and the many windows, youll be treated to peekaboo views of Downing Mountain and glorious Blodgett Canyon. Settle happily into this Victor neighborhood home with Bear Creek flowing through the center of its ten acres. Silverbow's unique four-level floor plan, comfortably accommodates six guests. The three bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the top floor include: the master suite furnished with a king bed, full bath, and private deck overlooking Bear Creek; a second bedroom with a queen bed; and a third featuring a trundle bed-set of two twins beds.

Sawyer's Place
After a day of outdoor adventuring, prop up your feet and relax at Sawyer’s Place, a home-away-from-home, with all the many comforts. Built in 2009, this house has 4 bedrooms, 2¼ baths, and over 2400 square feet of luxurious living space. It’s situated on one fully fenced acre. And a double gate makes for easy trailer access.

The bedrooms, with all new beds, are on the upper level. One boasts a king-sized, two have queens, and the fourth a cozy futon for two. In the morning, you
ll wake to amazing views of the Bitterroots and the Sapphire mountains. And sometimes a herd of statuesque elk.

For your enjoyment and convenience, there are 3 large HD flat screen TVs, a full-sized washer and dryer, and a completely equipped kitchen. The patio has a gas BBQ for outdoor dining. You’ll be well cared for in all seasons with central heat and AC.
